H Beam & I Beam Steel Section Description

Steel section steel is one of the most fundamental and widely used structural materials in modern construction and industry. We supply a full range of hot rolled H beams (also called H-section, HEA, HEB, HEM or HW/HM/HN according to Chinese GB/T 11263) and I beams (also called I-section, IPE, IPN, UB or UC) manufactured from high quality carbon steel by hot rolling.

Our section steel is produced from continuously cast billets by hot rolling. The flanges and webs have uniform thickness, parallel flanges, smooth surfaces and precise dimensions. Sections can be supplied as hot rolled black surface, shot blasted, primed, painted or galvanized for corrosion protection. Standard lengths are 6 m and 12 m, with custom cutting, drilling, welding and shot blasting available on request.

Production strictly follows GB/T 11263, ASTM A6/A36/A572, JIS G3192, EN 10034, EN 10025 and equivalent international standards. Each batch is inspected for dimensions, weight, straightness, surface quality and mechanical properties including yield strength, tensile strength and elongation. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) are provided with every shipment.

Quality & Packaging

Sections are checked for dimensions, weight per meter, straightness, flange and web thickness, surface quality and mechanical properties including yield strength, tensile strength and elongation. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) can be supplied. Sections are bundled with steel straps, supported by wooden blocks or steel cradles and wrapped for safe ocean transport and easy handling at the destination port.
